J. Yang's scheme therapy — one of the most effective methods of care for patients with borderline personality disorder

Abstract

The article analyzes the latest trends in the classification of personality disorders, provides data on the effectiveness of the scheme therapy for borderline personality disorder, indicates differences of scheme therapy from the traditional cognitive-behavioral therapy of personality pathology, formulates the basic principles of scheme therapy, and consideres conceptual apparatus of the scheme therapy and requirements to the therapist personality, using this method.
