Abstract

The paper presents the review of scientific meetings dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the birth of Doctor of Psychology, Professor Fyodor Efimovich Vasilyuk (October 6, 2023, Moscow). The purpose of the event: discussion of F.E. Vasilyuk's contribution to science, practice and education in the field of psychotherapy and psychological counseling, the development of counseling psychology and educational practices in this area. The speakers' discussions also focused on the prospects for the development of his legacy. Particular attention was paid to the innovative approach to psychotherapeutic education, implemented at the Faculty of Counseling and Clinical Psychology of the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education, created by F.E. Vasilyuk. It was decided to hold annual scientific meetings in memory of F.E. Vasilyuk.
