S.J. Rubinstein: the contribution of the development of pathopsychology

Abstract

Presented report was made on the anniversary conference, "Experimental methods of pathopsychology and the experience their application" and is devoted to assessing the contribution of S.Ya.Rubinshteyn into Soviet and Russian pathopsychology. Biographical information and milestones of scientific biography are given in the article. S.Ya.Rubinshteyn was an outstanding psychologist-diagnostician and an experimenter, a wonderful teacher and a clinical (medical) psychologist. Her contribution to the development of diagnostics and pathopsychological methodology of this science is enormous. Also S.Ya.Rubinshteyn was one of the founders of Abnormal Child Psychology in the Soviet Union. It is noted that S.Ya.Rubinshteyn andB.V.Zeygarnik are the creators of the national school of pathopsychology.
