Abstract

We studied the influence of motivation on the structural characteristics of the organization of the cognitive function. We tested the hypothesis of the existence of a direct link between the level of motivation and degree of coherence of the structural organization of cognitive parameters in the process of solving experimental problem on a sample of 100 Russian participants using diagnostic tests of intelligence in combination with the authors’ methods of structural psychological analysis, in particular, the method of determining the structural indices intercorrelation matrices. We revealed and a direct significant (p = 0.05) correlation between the degree of motivation and the level of coherence of the individual parameters of cognitive structures. The results are interpreted in terms of information and energy interaction, as well as from the perspective of synergistic effects due to systemic organization of the cognitive sphere.
