Abstract

The article formulates general provisions that were the result of an analysis of the ways of expressing diminutiveness in the Rutul language. Based on the analysis of the factual material, the prevalence of lexico-semantic means for the realization of the semantics of diminutiveness in the Rutul language is revealed, which is caused by the need to fill the lack of morphological diminutive formations.
