Abstract

Context and relevance. The work emphasizes the relevance of rapid diagnostic methods for practical psychologists, as they allow them to quickly obtain psychological indicators and implement an individual approach in working with examinees. The urgent need for such methods is due to the need to quickly obtain results in order to choose effective strategies for interacting with students, teachers and other clients of the psychological service. Purpose. Present a modified methodology for rapid diagnostics of teacher's pedagogical orientation (MADPNAU), designed to identify four types of professional orientation of the teacher's personality: "Subject," "Communicator," "Organizer" and "Intellectual." Methods and materials. The method of rapid diagnostics of teacher's pedagogical orientation (MADPNAU) is a modified questionnaire consisting of 40 points. The structure of the tool: 4 scales of 10 questions each, corresponding to four types of focus (subject, communicative, organizational and educational). Sample: 47 people, including practicing educators and graduate students of the Pedagogical University. Procedure: filling out a response form with the choice of signs "+" or "-" in accordance with the instructions; time (including processing) is 10-15 minutes in an individual version. Theoretical approach: the idea of pedagogical orientation as a basic education in the structure of the teacher's personality, determined by the need-motivational and emotional-volitional spheres. Results. The average values of indicators for four scales were: About (Communicator) - 5, Org (Organizer) - 5, Pr (Subject) - 4, In (Intellectual) - 6. The range of values according to scales ranged from 1 to 9 (Ob), from 1 to 9 (Org), from 1 to 8 (Pr) and from 1 to 8 (In). The number of subjects with the severity of one type of directivity was 3 for the Communicator type, 1 for the Organizer type and 3 for the Intelligent type, while no such cases were recorded for the Subject type. The total distribution by type of orientation: "Communicator" - 10 people, "Organizer" - 7 people, "Subject" - 8 people, "Intellectual" - 9 people. Conclusion. The MADPNAU technique allows you to quickly differentiate the types of teacher's pedagogical orientation. The severity of one type indicates mono-directivity, and several - about the polydirectional personality. The diagnostic results can be used by a psychologist to assist the teacher in the development and correction of his professional orientation, as well as to prevent the negative effect of hyper-active forms of orientation on the teacher's personality (the effect of the "professional train").
