Abstract

The article gives an analysis of the specifics of medical thinking necessary to prepare the practitioner for the ability to correctly diagnose and treat the patient. The article also considers in detail the results of the trial of doctors of students and practicing doctors - surgeons with at least five years of experience. The experiment revealed two ways to solve medical diagnostic problems. A pattern between professionalism and type of thinking was identified. Based on this study, a detailed program is given for building a system of training sessions that allows students to master the general rules for solving medical problems.
