Abstract

The author considers the problem of pedagogical consciousness as a socio-psychological phenomenon. There is a strong gap between the declared and actual norms and attitudes of professional consciousness, which entails many conflicts in the professional consciousness of teachers (in the field of goal setting, in ideas about the age-specific norm of development, in the field of teacher self-determination, ethical reflection, etc.). The results are illustrative.
