Abstract

The article discusses the main characteristics of training and retraining of higher education specialists. The methodological and psychological and pedagogical aspects of this problem are described. The authors note the importance of psychologically oriented professional selection, vocational and pedagogical training to qualify as a teacher of higher education and professional adaptation of the teacher.
