Abstract

The author explores the problem of drug use by adolescents. The article identifies environmental factors that bind a person to the drug: 1) tobacco and alcohol use in younger adolescence; 2) the circumstances in which a person tries the drug for the first time; 3) compensation for the lack of emotional warmth in the family or educational institution. The author showed that most drug addicts live in full-fledged families. This indicates that the risk group is not limited to disadvantaged children only.
