Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of using a computer in learning. The author describes an experimental computer training program for teaching French grammar (initial level) and testing its capabilities. The program is based on the following provisions of L.S. Vygotsky, S.L. Rubinstein, P.Ya. Halperin: 1) The principle of unity of consciousness and psyche, 2) the principle of interiorization, 3) The principle of development as an assimilation of public experience, 4) The principle of phased formation of mental actions. The results showed a decrease in the time spent explaining the new material and the time spent by students on the entire range of exercises.
