Values in Education: Choosing the Path of Development
Abstract
The problem of values is highlighted, the points of view of various psychologists and philosophers, the relevance and timelessness of this problem are given. The author proves that the origins of values are in education, in culture, in society. Two main options for the negative development of the situation stand out: 1) the formation of a nostalgic consciousness that rejects modern life practices and is aimed at restoring the past; 2) utilitarian-pragmatic activity, imitation innovation for the sake of increasing one's own status in the eyes of colleagues.
