Conditions for the effectiveness of perceptual communication between the teacher and students
Abstract
The authors studied the problem of forming the image of the teacher in the minds of students - the peculiarities of the perceptual process at the stage of the first acquaintance with the teacher (in the situation of the educational process, i.e. at the first lesson) and the dynamics of the first impression in the process of deepening perception. The results of the study showed that the perception of the teacher by students at the first contact is based on the mechanisms of intergroup communication, the most important place among which is social stereotyping. With further interaction, mechanisms of interpersonal communication - identification, empathy, reflection - come to the fore.
