The role of the specialized centre in providing integrated care for abused children
Abstract
The article presents the model of assistance to children affected by violence offered by leading specialists in this field and applied in the Center "OZON." As a main feature, it is noted that the center of the application of comprehensive, multidisciplinary assistance is a child, while assistance is provided in a family context and within the framework of an interdepartmental approach. The intervention in the situation of abuse is aimed at improving the emotional state of the child, his behavior, increasing the level of self-esteem, the ability to adapt to the environment, improving the child-parent relationship and the psychological climate in the family as a whole.
