Spouse attitude to self, to each other and marriage satisfaction

The article discusses modern approaches to research on married partners' relationships, their attitudes to themselves, to each other, and their marriage satisfaction. It overviews a number of studies published earlier on questions of spouses' perception deformation of each other image when problems occur in the marriage. The research indicates statistically significant differences between attitudes towards self and partner in satisfied and unsatisfied married couples.
