Method of Research of Students Adaptability in the Higher Educational Establishment

Abstract

Recent high school graduates after being accepted into a university face with the need to adapt to a new cultural and educational environment. The article presents a method developed by the authors that addresses the adaptability problem of students in the university that includes two scales: adaptability to the study group and adaptability to the educational activity. This method can be used to identify students who have difficulty in adapting to the group and to the educational activities, for the methodological provision of the psychological support of students' adaptation to university, to study the effectiveness of correctional and developmental work with students, as well as in the practice of teaching courses on educational psychology, pedagogy and psychodidactics in psychological and educational universities an colleges.
