Abstract

The article is devoted to the knowledge-based technique “The system of psychological rehabilitation of patients with various somatic diseases” used in the Psychological Institute of the Albert-Ludwig University (Freiburg, Germany). Among the main issues of the article are: psychologist’s activity in rehabilitation facilities in Germany; scope of work with patients in a rehabilitation center for a psychologist; specifics of the individual psychotherapy with patients suffering from somatic diseases. forms of group therapy; the system of psychological rehabilitation of patients with somatic diseases in community settings; competences required to work in the system of psychological rehabilitation for patients with various somatic diseases; comparison of Russian and German systems of rehabilitation for patients with somatic diseases; the possibility of introducing some elements of psychological rehabilitation for patients with somatic diseases used in Germany to Russian rehabilitation centers.
