About educational standard in specialization «Pedagogy and psychology of deviant behaviour»

Abstract

The article is devoted to the newly introduced specialty «Pedagogy and Psychology of Deviant Behaviour» to be realized in the framework of psychological-pedagogic education. The authors describe educational standard of the specialty and sub-specialties dealing with prevention work with children and adolescents. Three sub-specialties are aimed respectively to the primary prevention of deviant behaviour, psychological-pedagogic support of children and adolescents from risk groups (secondary prevention), as well as correction and rehabilitation of persons with deviant behaviour (tertiary prevention). Issues of practical implementation of the specialists’ competences in practice of different agencies working with problems of children and adolescents with deviant behaviour are discussed.
