Preamble

The focus of the second stage of the Plan of Main Activities carried out within the framework of the Decade of Childhood (2021-2027) is focused on proactive actions to prevent family problems, attracting multidisciplinary teams to identify the needs and needs of children and families with children, and providing further necessary assistance.

This topic was discussed in 2020 at a meeting of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for the Implementation of state Policy in the field of family and Child Protection.

The journal "Social Sciences and Childhood" begins publishing materials about foreign experience in this field and opens a series with information about the UK.

The material is presented in the form of answers to questions regarding the preservation of a child in a sheltered family in the event of a difficult life situation. For this purpose, a questionnaire was developed in Russian and English (compiled by G. V.
