Burlakova I.I.
Doctor of Education, head of the Department of linguodidactics and intercultural communication, Moscow State University of Psychology and Education, Moscow, Russia

The post-industrial era has caused the entry of mankind in the era of globalization. The principle of Association is in this concept. Integration between countries and cultures has been increased. Generation of information society has been formed. All these processes have both positive and negative effects on existing languages. The formation of cross-cultures and their manifestation in the lexicon as a phenomenon of intercultural communication does not points to the positive impact of globalization on Russian language, but also the need for a deeper study of this phenomenon. However, this should not divert from the struggle of linguists and active part of the community for the purity of the Russian language.
