The editorial board of the journal "Extreme Psychology and Personal Security" invites specialists to participate in the preparation of the thematic issue "Risks and resources of professional longevity of teachers".
The planned issue will be devoted to the study of psychological, pedagogical, and social factors influencing the aging process and the decline in the quality of professional activity among teachers. It aims to address key tasks such as the prevention of professional burnout, correction of negative psycho-emotional reactions, development of coping strategies (mechanisms of coping behavior), minimization of risks and threats to the psychological safety of the educational environment, and the examination of teachers' subjective well-being and related aspects.
Special attention will be given to resources for teachers' professional longevity, including a conscious attitude towards professional development, accumulation of constructive experience in resolving pedagogical problematic situations among participants in the educational process, identification of psychological reserves (such as work capacity, resilience, reliability, productivity, etc.), and the development of a set of non-psychological methods based on physical activity and leisure engagement of educators.
Modern education is undergoing a large-scale existential and technological transformation, accompanied by the emergence of new challenges. We invite experts in the field of education to share their perspectives, based on research findings and analytical data.
