Abstract

The development of the modern digital environment occupies a leading position in the list of topical and priority areas in the field of education. Higher education is no exception. The digital environment is a broad and multifaceted concept that is reflected in the educational process. As the practice of the last two years has shown, the modern teacher, in fact, turned out to be not ready for the transition to the digitalization of the lesson. Thus, the question of the need to create a unified digital environment in an educational institution became obvious. At the same time, the organization of the work of a teacher and a student in the context of digitalization is a priority task for the administration of an educational institution. One of the key activities of a student is independent work. The level of development of a graduate’s competencies and his readiness for continuous self-education often depend on its quality. This article provides an assessment of the need to create a unified digital space of the university, conducive to the high-quality organization of all types of classroom and extracurricular work with students. The main aspects are highlighted, possible difficulties are indicated. On the basis Shukshin Altay State University for Pedagogy and Humanities, a unified digital ecosystem was created, which makes it possible to more effectively manage the independent work of students. They, within the framework of work on projects, being in production practice, and simply working on their homework, always have access to the teacher’s prompt help, both within the framework of communication in messengers and using videoconferences, to regulatory documents, to communication and assistance their peers.
