Cultural-Historical Psychology Through the Eyes of P. Ya. Galperin. An Experience of Reading L. S. Vygotsky. (Foreword)

The article presents a previously unpublished work of P. Ya. Galperin «The system of historical psychology of L. S. Vygotsky and some notions to its analysis», written in 1935. Brief details on scientific biography of P. Ya. Galperin, relevant to the Kharkov period of his work are provided. The reading of one classic's work by another classic fascilitates a better understanding of both Vygotskian cultural-historical psychology and the history of theory development of orientation nature of the psyche by P. Ya. Galperin.
