The Cross-Cultural Adaptation of D. Buss Questionnaire "Events and Behaviors Affecting Status and Reputation" in the Russian Sample

Abstract

The aim of this study was to adapt the D.Buss questionnaire to the socio-cultural conditions of Russia (translation and wording of the items). The following pilot study administered to a representative Russian sample aimed at questionnaire’s standardization, evaluation of the scales’ reliability (internal consistency), comparison with the data obtained on the American sample. Presented results suggest the validity and reliability of this psycho-diagnostic measure.
