Abstract

The paper addresses the problem of the normative behavior of junior schoolchildren in the learning process of the cultural space of a secondary school. The socio-psychological analysis of the problem of normativity was carried out. The analysis of the normative structure in learning activities of students was performed. The personal development space of students in the normative school space was identified. The determination of junior student's personality development process by the means, which are presented as cultural by the school, are in the focus of attention. The hypothesis of relation between the junior schoolchildren normative behavior and his/her success in mastering the normative situation is presented. The mastering and proper application of the norms are dependent on the students' ability to reflect on external signs of the normative situation. We conclude that development of normativity in schoolchildren is associated with the ability to build adequate behavior in the corresponding subspaces of their activity that are built in the framework of relations «student — learning activity», «student — teacher», «student — peer».
