Structural and Anthropological Approach in Art Therapy: Ontosynergetic Method

Abstract

In this article author discusses research of the main principles of structural and anthropological approach in art therapy. The author also gives a description of the principles of structural analysis of an artistic image. In the focus of the author’s attention there is a possibility of using the laws of synergy in art therapy practice and eliciting the meanings of the key principles of the theory. The article provides a procedure of building the ontosynergetic method of art therapeutic activity. The innovation model can be successfully employed within the consistent analysis of the structure of composition. Another purpose of the research project is to try to objectify the results of the interpretation of the content of an artistic image. In conclusion studies have demonstrated the potential power and efficacy of the structural and anthropological approach in solving different psychological problems, including mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. The emphasis is first on developing such a creative space to help an individual find meaning through it and ways of self-organization of psyche in order to implement art therapy strategies.
