Recognition of expression of inverted face image

942

Abstract

Our research is dedicated to the influence of expression intensity and spatial location of facial images on the emotion recognition and organization of oculomotor activity of the observer. It is shown that weakening an expression and turning the face image 180 ° leads to a decrease in the efficiency of recognition, increase in frequency and changes in the composition of "errors" of perception. Weak expressions of a face on an inverted image are presented as a calm state of a model. The distribution of visual fixations of a person under the influence of changing conditions of perception is different, but the successful recognition of emotion is not directly connected.
