Peculiarities of Online Teaching English as a Foreign Language

Abstract

The article focuses on the features of online teaching English as a foreign language. The need to solve the linguodidactic problem in question by all subjects of the educational ecosystem is emphasized. The author underlines the role of developing a single mechanism of online methodological support in the information and educational environment conditions of the Russian higher school. Special attention is paid to some useful resources for improving necessary skills to master English. Thepaper highlights the issue of online tutoring, considers the prospects for online English language learning at a university.
