Abstract

The study highlights the linguistic contacts between Tabasaran and Turkic (Azerbaijani) languages, which led to numerous lexical borrowings, traces of whose influence are clearly detected at the phonetic, lexical and morphological levels of the structure of the Tabasaran language.
