Abstract

The grammatical category of number in Tabasaran, as in other Dagestani languages, is common to many parts of speech. It covers almost all nouns, which have both singular and plural in their form and meaning. Functioning of the category of number in pronouns and in verb word forms in Tabasaran language has peculiarities which have not been touched upon by researchers of Tabasaran language so far.
