Features of the actions of children 6-7 years old in the transition from visual, effective and figurative thinking to thinking in concepts
Abstract
The author considers the role of the symbol in the creative act. Various experiments conducted with students of grades III-IV showed that the representation of action as transforming his situation and conditions is a form of mediation in solving a creative problem. Such a representation is built through the transformation of real action into symbolic, which is a prerequisite for the success of mediation.
