Abstract

The article describes a study that aimed to establish the existence of two alternative complexes of typological properties of the nervous system, which can be considered as the targets of two types of special abilities for pedagogical activity. Intermediate complexes were also identified, on the basis of which different types of teachers with different possibilities of self-realization are distinguished. The existence of a psychophysiological factor that determines the teacher's ability to realize, or not to realize, his pedagogical potential is noted.
