Abstract

The article presents a study aimed at identifying in urban adolescents an understanding of the specific motives of Russian landscape painting. The purpose of the study was to discover in the minds of urban adolescents images, ideas and ideas on the basis of which they could adequately interpret the motives traditional for Russian landscape painting. The study revealed specific patterns of perception of painting by adolescents.
