Abstract

The article justifies the program of teaching schoolchildren to solve problems on a figurative basis. The following main characteristics of the training program are distinguished: 1) the formation of a fairly wide range of images for each category of objects studied; 2) high noise immunity of images in relation to deformations to which reflected objects are subjected; 3) the development of the ability to visually abstract visual material. The conditions for the implementation of all training goals are analyzed in detail.
