Abstract

In this article, the author analyzes approaches to education reform from the point of view of two pedagogical schools - Russian and American. The Russian approach is represented by the works of T.V. Gabay, R.L. Hon and D.V. Olshansky, the American approach is represented by the works of K. Rogers. The author notes the existence of a common approach within the framework of the so-called pedagogy of cooperation, when the traditional subject-object relationship between the teacher and the student in the educational process is opposed to the subject-subject approach, which proclaims the student as an equal participant in the pedagogical process.
