To the problem of sociocultural disposition of the school
Abstract
The author of the article proposes to interpret the concept of the school broadly as a special social structure that allows maintaining the psychosocial integrity of human communities and ensuring the continuity of sociocultural experience. Schools corresponding to this interpretation are given - these are alchemical and religious schools (before they grow into the state system). In modern society, the education system is state-controlled and necessarily applies to all people of a certain age, which leads to the practice of forced pedagogy. Analyzing different approaches to education, the author concludes that compulsory education imposed on society by the state can lead to disastrous consequences for society.
