Abstract

According to the author, the relevance of the problem of self-determination of modern youth is dictated primarily by global metamorphoses in society. The reality is so unstable that it is difficult for young people to identify and learn the norms of adulthood. The author defines the age from 18 to 25 years as a transition between childhood (youthful) age and maturity, while the type of personality development is already qualitatively different from that of children or adolescents. The author gives a detailed description and results of studies conducted to study the features of the process of real self-determination of modern youth from 18 to 25 years old.
