The peculiarities of valuable orientations of a personality at teenage and youthful age

Abstract

The goal was to study person's valuable orientations at teenage and youthful age. The research was carried out in the context of the Shwarts theory of values. In the research took part 254 subjects in the age of from 14 till 19, 133 teenagers (121 people in the age of from 17 till 19 years), the students Moscow, Samara and Shatura universities, including 136 young men (43 %) and 178 girls (57 %). Shwarts test of values was used. The author carried out the comparative analysis of hierarchy of values of modern Russian teenagers and models of pancultural consensus. The age and gender features of teenagers and young men valuable sphere are were revealed and their relation with the features of a social situation of development and developmental tasks was shown.
