Highlights of Using D. Buss Test "Events and Behaviour Affecting Status and Reputation" in Russia

Abstract

The article describes some methodological questions that arise in the process of using D. Buss test «Events and Behavior Affecting Status and Reputation» in practice. It also discusses what is possible to get with the help of statistical analysis of individual profiles' database collected in five years. The most important questions are the following: 1) validity and reliability of inventory scales 2) reproducibility of scales (stability over time) evaluated by test-retest method. This inventory doesn't have equivalents in the world practice; it is used in Russia for the first time and is of great interest for applied psychologists.
