Aggressiveness and inability to understand other people's emotions

Abstract

We present the results of a study of aggression in the context of emotional inadequacy as a specific feature of the worldview. The study involved 126 adults subjects (18 to 65 years old). The diagnostic procedure involved filling computer questionnaire and tasks of facial emotional expression recognition. The factorization of the results identified five significant (explaining 55 % of the variance) factors, the content of which allows to describe the role of different forms of aggression in the formation of the self-attitude, communicative competence, as well as in the functioning of cognitive, emotional and motivational components of the worldview. The prospects of using emotional facial expression recognition techniques for the study of motivational sphere of personality is shown.
