Abstract

In the article discusses the main directions of professional education modernization in Russian education system. Scientific and practical foundation of the concept of the professional standard of the practical psychologist based on the principles of competence-based approach. Competence-based approach provides an orientation to the specific measurable results of education - the transition to a multi-level system of specialist training, including the system of postgraduate training and support. Raised the question about the use of professional standards in professional education programs.
