Training of Teachers in a Research Master's Degree: the Experience of Moscow City Pedagogical University

Abstract

The article presents the experience of the Moscow City Pedagogical University, implementing the Federal Project (State contract No. 05.043.11.0022, May 16, 2014): “Development and testing of new modules of basic educational programs on the integrated Master’s specialty group “Education and Pedagogy” (with major in Pedagogy), suggesting an increase of research work and practical training of students in networking with educational institutions at various levels”. Based on our own research and monitoring, and in the framework of the research Masters training, we describe 4 competency groups of Masters demanded by the modern labor market: educational, analytical, planning and communication. The content of the research modules of Masters includes: 4 module disciplines (general scientific and professional modules, the base and the variable parts); module “Practice” (3 types) and module “Scientific research” (3 types), as well as the implementation of modules of the research Master in networking.
