Psychological Assistance to People Rubbed Through Psycho-Traumatic Experience

Abstract

The article is based on the materials received during the advanced training on “Psychological Aid during ASD (Acute Stress Disorder), PTSD (Posttraumatic Stress Disorder) and crisis states. An integrated approach” at the institute of practical psychology “Imaton” (St. Petersburg). The author of the program is O. I. Abdurashitova-Sheh, clinical psychologist. Analysis of domestic and foreign literature touching the problem in question are also underlain the article. Within the terms of the theme the issues concerning the specificity of psychological work in urgent situations and the aid to people rubbed through psycho-traumatic experience are considered.
