Abstract

The descriptive scientific review considers the domestic psychological approaches to the study of parental attitude, one of the key concepts in the complex forensic psychological and psychiatric examination and forensic psychological examination in child custody disputes. The main scientific concepts used to describe the nature of child-parental relations have been allocated: parental attitude, parenting affirmations, parenting styles. An attempt has been made to substantiate the necessity of applying the expert concept of “parental attitude” in the production of complex forensic psychological and psychiatric and forensic psychological examination in the part of description and expert assessment of the “relations existing between each parent and child”.
