Abstract

The present material is an expansive and informative review of a book written by the RPORC's general director, V. V. Fedorov, "Russian choice. Introduction to the the electoral behavior theory". It is shown in sufficient detail that, notwithstanding "political and momentary" aspects, the rich and most interesting research material dominates the book. This allows to make a conclusion that the reviewed book makes a real step from "independent sociology" to the informative analysis of the most important social processes taking place in the Russian society.
