The 2026 Issue No. 3 of the journal "Autism and Developmental Disorders" will focus on the theme “Interdisciplinary Aspects of Support for Autism Spectrum Disorders”.
Guest Editor: Daria S. Pereverzeva, PhD in Psychology, Leading Research Fellow at the Federal Resource Center for Comprehensive Support for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE).
Effective support for autism spectrum disorders requires close collaboration between medicine, psychology, and education. The third issue of the journal will summarize the outcomes of the IV Scientific and Practical Conference “Autism. Doctors, Patients, Parents: Together in the Interests of People with ASD”, held within the framework of the “Congress of Pediatricians of Russia” (February 13–15, 2026).
The issue will focus on organizing a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach to supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorders, including continuity across stages of support, comorbid conditions, contemporary psychological and educational interventions, and models of collaboration among professionals from different disciplines.
Topics of interest include:
- early identification and diagnosis of ASD;
- medical aspects and comorbid conditions in ASD;
- psychological support across developmental stages;
- interdisciplinary collaboration and continuity of care;
- education and socialization;
- lifelong support.
