Abstract

The article is devoted to the comprehension of a set of topical problems associated with the use of digital humanities methods in distance learning Russian as a foreign language (RFL) by foreign citizens at the pre-university stage, with the formation of communicative competence using a textual approach and digital technologies. Online learning has become an important tool in the educational process today. The general strategy can be presented as a transition from a general theoretical understanding of the research object to its specific description. Particular attention is paid to identifying factors influencing this process in the new conditions of receiving distance education during a pandemic, using the example of the activities of the Faculty of Pre-University Training and Education of Foreign Citizens (FDPOIG) of the Kalmyk State University named after B.B. Gorodovikov (KalmSU). The article is aimed at drawing the attention of researchers to the issue under discussion. For a systematic study of the problems of digital humanities in the field of teaching RFL, it is necessary to overcome some conceptual disunity, fuzziness and amorphousness in the formulation and description of the key problems of adaptation of foreigners to the virtual learning environment. It is necessary to rely on the experience accumulated by linguists, methodologists, psychologists and sociologists in previous decades, on the synthesis of working principles of traditional classical education that have not lost their relevance and new ideas developed in the process of online learning.
