Abstract

The article presents the results of an experimental study to assess the effectiveness of introducing computer programs into the educational process of a school for children with hearing impairments. Creating a qualitatively new model of teaching hearing impaired and hearing impaired children today is impossible without informatization. Using the example of mathematics lessons, the influence of information technologies on the quality of education in a special educational organization is determined. The analysis of specialized scientific and educational-methodical literature is carried out, the need for differentiation is determined when involving schoolchildren experiencing problems with the perception of sound information in working with a graphical representation of mathematical problems by computer means. The necessity of determining the qualitative influence of teaching software, including systems of symbolic algebra, on the development of the key competencies of children with hearing impairments, taking into account the peculiarities of their thinking and perception, is substantiated. The methodology of experimental work on the study of the effectiveness of the use of computers for expanding the cognitive sphere of students of a special school in the field of exact sciences is given. Examples of the rational use of computers when studying various sections of the educational program, taken from the pedagogical practice of the authors of the article on working with children with special educational needs, are described. The ways of interaction between hearing and hearing impaired students and computers in individual and group work are proposed. We consider the quantitative results obtained empirically during the training period. The factors of stimulating students to master the educational material, the development of their verbal and logical thinking, analytical skills, creative approach to the implementation of tasks based on the use of technical means of training are identified. The authors note that the problem of choosing educational software that solves both educational and correctional problems that is relevant for a special school can be solved by the techniques described in the article.
