Pedagogical Practice of Future Teachers in the Conditions of the Modern Educational Environment

Abstract

Pedagogical practices as a means of professional teacher training are undergoing significant changes due to the expansion of the range of professional tasks of a modern teacher. The practice becomes continuous and interdisciplinary, allows the future teacher to master modern digital technologies and methods of organizing education, to identify ways of self-improvement as a professional and an individual. Based on the analysis of literature and the experience of teacher training, the present and projected trends in the development of pedagogical practices were identified. In the conditions of the modern educational environment, the technologies of the lesson have significantly diversified and the teacher needs to actively apply them, and the teacher should also be able to organize extracurricular activities on the subject, using design and research, as well as digital equipment, widely enough in these activities. At the same time, on the basis of existing developments, significant adjustments in the organization of pedagogical practices of students were made in the conditions of large-scale distance education, introduced due to the strict isolation of students and staff of schools and universities (lockdown), as well as other problems of organizing remote education in modern schools. The article presents the experience of organizing pedagogical practices taking into account the indicated trends and conditions of the modern educational situation, changes in the educational environment. The purpose of the study was to demonstrate the peculiarities of practice in the modern educational environment, making the necessary changes in the practical training of teachers. The research methodology included activity-based, personality–oriented, problem-based approaches, methods of pedagogical observation, questioning, analysis and design of the educational situation were used. As a result, the identified new types of pedagogical practice produced the process of studying the ways of their organization for high-quality professional training of future teachers. Attention has increased to the digitalization of education, the joint solution of educational problems by students and teachers, self-education of the future teacher, the formulation of new ideas and their joint project implementation with colleagues.
