Application of Artificial Intelligence Technologies by University Students in Educational Activities

Abstract

The authors of the scientific study are studying the possibility of using artificial intelligence technologies in solving educational problems by students of humanitarian universities. Within the framework of the scientific material, various technological approaches are studied in the context of the digital transition of educational systems caused by the fourth industrial revolution. On the basis of numerous domestic and foreign theories, the authors study the phenomenon of artificial intelligence technologies and its capabilities in a learning situation. The main research methods are: the method of deduction, analysis, questionnaire method, the method of assessing academic performance, statistical methods (Mann-Whitney test, Fisher's phi-test). The sample consists of students from the Moscow State Psychological and Pedagogical University and the Institute of Economics and Culture. Research materials contain voluminous infographics. As a result of the study, the authors manage to demonstrate the relationship between the desire to use «artificial intelligence» technologies and the low academic performance of male students in the preparation of their written work.
